- Commercially available pricing data often is inaccurate
- Existing solutions did not take in account the client’s geographical market
- Data sources were not real-time and did not allow the client to give their customers accurate day-to-day pricing information
Our custom scraping solution combined data from several vendor sources to give a complete daily overview covering over 10,000 different car makes and models.
The data is easily consumable through a web interface and allows looking at historical data and trends.
Not only did we give our client an unprecedent amount of valuable data, we enabled the client to adjust their own pricing in anticipation of seasonal variations. This gave our client an extraordinary competitive advantage.
